CORROSION
OF CONFORMITY - BLIND features Karl Agell, who sang on the
classic CORROSION OF CONFORMITY (C.O.C.) album "Blind"
(1991), and founding C.O.C. member Reed Mullin (drums).
The group, which performs the entire original version of the "Blind"
LP, also features Scott Little and TR Gwynn from Agell's
band LEADFOOT, and Jerry Barrett, who was previously in BAD
BRAINS singer HR's solo group.

CORROSION OF
CONFORMITY - BLIND's set includes such classics as "Damned for
All Time", "Echoes in the Well", "Dance of the Dead"
and "Vote with a Bullet".

As previously reported, the
classic "Animosity" lineup of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY — Mike
Dean (bass, vocals), Woody Weatherman (guitar) and Reed
Mullin (drums) — has reformed and is working on a new album. There
are even some early-August shows lined up for the West Coast already,
although they have not yet been officially announced.

Something tells me that people who don't follow all the latest news are going to show up to a CoC show expecting one thing and getting something else.

and at ticketmaster it just comes up...COC.....it doesnt even say anything about animosity era nor blind era.

I do although see your point, seems to be a bit ass backwards when it comes to what band is calling themselves what ???

I dont get why Reed, Mike, & Woody, 3/4ths of CoC's original line up would call themselves anything other than Corrosion of Conformity ???

And why Reed & Karl simply dont just call themselves BLIND ???

Either way though, hella happy new CoC (Animosity) material is being put out, but as well hella unhappy that I am unable to see the CoC-Blind gigs !!!
Be fucking great to see that CD performed in it's entirety LIVE !!!

I would think they are calling themselves that to try to clear what they will be presenting - and to Draw existing fans of COC - like when you look it up on line - trying to let you know no peppa songs and the Blind - if they were just Blind no one would know they were COC associated. Just a guess...Im a fan of it all just happy to know Woodys out there shreddin' it up!

I see both points. What can I say? It's their own business, everything they decide is well decided to me. I really think moonie got the point, they do want to clear what they will be presenting. Plus I really believe they don't want to screw the 4-pieces experience up, I guess they don't feel it's over.
And also looking at COC-BLiND flyer we can say they're trying to keep the infos straight...
