Maryland rockers CLUTCH will perform their second, self-titled 1995 album in its entirety at the following shows:

Dec. 27 - Charlotte, NC @ Amos' Southend
Dec. 28 - Washington DC @ 9:30 Club
Dec. 29 - Clifton Park, NY (Albany) @ Northern Lights
Dec. 30 - Boston, MA @ House of Blues
Dec. 31 - Sayreville, NJ @ Starland Ballroom

A bunch of other songs spanning the band's entire career will also be played at the above-listed dates.

These concerts will be filmed by producer and director extraodinaire Agent Ogden and featured on the "Strange Cousins From the West" DVD package, to be released in the spring of 2010.

On December 15, CLUTCH will issue a double vinyl package of their latest studio effort, "Strange Cousins From the West", through the band's self-owned label Weathermaker Music. This vinyl edition will feature two tracks that cannot be found on the CD version of "Strange Cousins..." The first track is the recently recorded "Metroliner Special" and the second is an extended version of the band's latest single and video, "50,000 Unstoppable Watts".

The first 4,000 pieces of "Strange Cousins" vinyl will include a coupon for a free digital download of all 12 songs through the band's web site, www.pro-rock.com.

Also this fall, Weathermaker will make available for digital purchase the former DRT Entertainment catalog, which includes "Blast Tyrant" (2004), "Robot Hive/Exodus" (2005) and "From Beale Street to Oblivion" (2007). Weathermaker plans to reissue all three of these in 2010 with a heavy dose of bonus material. Double vinyl packages are in the works for these as well.

"Robot Hive/Exodus" was made available digitally on November 30 and will be followed by "Blast Tyrant" on December 18. Due to the high amount of digital demand for the band's 2007 single "Electric Worry", Weathermaker has already issued "From Beale Street to Oblivion" on November 7 to coincide with the song's inclusion in the popular video game "Left 4 Dead 2" and its television commercial.

Berlin, Germany's PitCam Production and More-Metal.com recently conducted an interview with CLUTCH frontman Neil Fallon when the band played the Lido club in Berlin on November 11, 2009. Watch the chat below.

Full Fathom Five version? or off another one? Watt dumped his whole collection on me (FFF is not there - I don't think) and I really cant keep em all straight...Have watched the live videos of it on line though...They are FABULOUS live.

Hoping Watt and I can do the Dec 27th show (its a Sunday and he may have to leave around 8pm to make it to work by the next am punch in time) - don't look good though.

I read that the New Years eve show the first 500 through the door get a Clutch T-shirt and the next like 1000 (I think it was but seems a lot for the small venues they play) get a CD (I believe it was the new one Strange Cousins ...) - I'd find it to quote but it was my MP3 player that told me this and aside from the fact that I can't control the thing very well, I'm not sure how to get back to where it was when it was hooked into the net Suspect then again I don't think we have anyone on here who'd be hitting that show anyway...

from 1991 to the present.

Other Clutch tidbits:

"LET
A POOR MAN BE" SINGLE
In support of the summer tour and the
forthcoming Live at the 9:30 DVD, as well as the current Strange Cousins
From the West CD, Weathermaker Music will release the new single "Let a
Poor Man Be" on May 3rd, with an accompanying video clip and a rare
promo only EP featuring unreleased material.

CLUTCH CD AND VINYL
RE-ISSUES COMING
As if that's not enough, Clutch and Weathermaker
Music are currently preparing expanded CD and vinyl re-issues of catalog
pieces From Beale Street to Oblivion, Robot Hive/Exodus and Blast
Tyrant. These three projects will be available digitally and physically
at retail and the band's websites on the CD/DVD format on June 22nd,
August 17th and October 12th respectively. Double vinyl versions of all
three re-issues will be available on November 23rd. Track listings are
not yet available, but Weathermaker label manager Jon Nardachone hints
at some very exciting details.

"The bonus content of the three
re-issues will be entirely different. We're still sifting through
unreleased Clutch originals, cover songs, live audio, live video,
alternate takes, etc, One thing we know for sure is that each re-issue
will have updated and upgraded artwork/packaging as well as additional
music from the exact timeframe each CD was first released. This is not
about tacking on a couple of unfinished demos to the end of each CD.
We're producing these with the knowledge that Clutch fans expect
something fresh, yet distinguishably representative of that moment in
time. The diehard fan will appreciate these projects in a big way."

Labatt posted this at the db and i stole it from him
