On Sunday we finally had a big lunch with the whole family, I really enjoyed that. I got two books about the Balkans (I plan to go there next year again) and some great jogging equipment (special socks, muscle and bone salves and so on). It was a great birthday actually. I spent plenty of time with my folks and we had a good time together. Awesome!

Noooooooo - SANGRIA ..... about twenty-something years ago I went on my first holiday abroad ( Rolling Eyes

) in Spain ... made the fabulous mistake of drinking an entire JUG of sangria ... through a straw .... Oh dear lord - I was soooooooooooooooooooooooo drunk!!!
I remember my friends getting me a glass of water to help sober me up, then someone suggested they take me back to the hotel room and stick me under the shower ... I said - "I don't need a shower - I have one here!" ... and promptly threw the glass of water over myself, giggling as the ice cubes and lemon slices slid down my face .... they then decided theybest get me back to the hotel room, and with one person either side of me, holding me up, they sorta marched me to the stairwell, at which point I broke away and ran up the stairs giggling ...
Finally back in the hotel room, my mate helped me undress and bundled me into bed, all the while I was grinning and giggling ... until ... sudden projectile vomiting started and I lay curled in a ball for the next 12 hours puking my guts out and moaning about the pain in my head ..... ughhh ... never again!!
