Christmas was ace.
The whole family got together and we had a nice Christmas tree and an enormous turkey.
I built a cajon for my brother (that's those wooden percussion boxes to sit on, containing snare chains and stuff, and depending on where you hit you get different sounds out of it). It cost almost nothing and sounds better than a lot of 100€ cajons. Made a painting for my dad.
My mum purchased a cassette in the Eighties from a band that's not in existence anymore and lost it.
She's been complaining about it for the last decade.
So I found out how to contact the former band members and asked them if they had a private stock of records left,
and they sent me a whole box with everything they ever recorded both on cassette and CD, as a present (I sent some nice things back).
My mum thought she'd never hear that record again, she was so happy she had to cry, didn't see that coming at all
Oh, and I got a camcorder, da-duh da-duh
I'm looking forward to starting a new youtube channel with that once the band are back together again.

Sunday we'll rehearse with some guy looking like Heino (famous German plastic folk singer from the depths of hell).
