It's not been out for a long time, and it's one massive brick of a book, pretty costy, too. He said the release price is higher, but they'll lower it in a few weeks, so I wait.

| Bah, I'm researching so I'm basically reading with that in mind... nothing strenuous just not that much fun when it's for work rly.
Was trying to read Dhalgren by Delany again but it's a struggle, it's a bit Neveryon-ish in retrospect and I disliked his Neveryon books. I hold that The Fall of the Towers trilogy is his finest work, closely followed by They Fly at Ciron.
Thinking of sci-fi, I'd love to re-read Blood Music by Greg Bear - bloody gorgeous book!

| I mostly read text/fact books actually.
In terms of novels I'm still at the begining of Chasing the Wolf by Nathan Singer (aka Screwtape from the DB).
It is his third novel. I loved his first and his second - real masterpieces in my opinion. By now, I can't say much about that one though, I only had time for the first couple of pages.

| The Collected Stories of Arthur C. Clarke1937 thru 1999 - this is my go to tomb of short stories of epic thickness I go to between books. It blows my damn mind what a visionary he was. Thanks ACC for the satellite idea. Waiting for: Under The Dome S. KIng | |

| Arthur C Clarke's Rama series rocks my boat to pieces - LOVE that shit!!
Also Against the Fall of the Night and Beyond the Fall of the Night (the latter with Gregory Benford) - glorious reads.

.... looks interesting - so, do you recommend this book??? absolutely...a lot of humor in the book. was a best seller in the late thirties.... Excellent - thanks Brah - I shall look it up and grab a copy Moi - just finished Death and the Penguin - it was BRILLIANT - fab little twist at the end ... now trying to decide between immediately reading the sequel (Penguin Lost) or move on to ... Fool Moon - Jim Butcher (Dresden Files) or Some of the sci-fi mentioned above by the lovely Ren; Greg Bear - Blood Music or The Bone Collector - Jeffrey Deaver (it was lying around in the staff room, so I read the first chapter over lunch yesterday)
