things are getting a little better and better everyday
he made it thru the surgery which was more than the drs thought he would......and has been home for almost a week after 13 days in the hospital. for every step we take forward we get kicked back a few but we should be gaining on shit before ya know it

dad got his staples out today and can finally take a show-ah after a month

his appt was with one of the 2 drs who did his surgery.....and he told dad today , not only was it the most complicated surgery he's ever done...its the most complicated that he had ever even witnessed

the anesthesiologist told me right after the surgery that he had never been part of anything so extraordinary himself as well damn my daddy is such a lucky man....and i feel so lucky that he is even alive. crazy assed shit fo sho

hes doing good....no cigarettes and in the 12 days that he has been home he has had about 5 beers....one here...one there. i am so proud of him and tho it may not seem like much...thats all a huge deal for him

Its kinda weird going thru something like that and most of the support that you get is from people that you have never even met or barely know in "real life". I would get texts at all hours of the day and night from people like Sak, Jules and Danielle from the db....just telling me they luff us and were there for us.
