Do you use a "drop" safeword for when you're unable to speak?

We were discussing a way to do that - if ya cant speak or move

. . . though holdin on to something to drop not a bad idea - ya'd have to be over something hard (teehee) to hear it though.

If you're in a scene where you're bound, gagged etc having something that could save your life or keeping you from passing out isn't much of a disruption. I've seen different things used depending on the location. If it's a padded floor ie rubber or carpet then a small set of keys can work because they'll still make noise when they hit the floor. If it's wood, tile or concrete then a couple of marbles or steel bearings work good. We don't use safewords or drops at the moment but will probably change as we play harder.
